Folio – Bass is a dual voice ROMpler aimed squarely at Bass sounds. Our starting point are the 300 instrument samples included in Folio – Bass, these were meticulously recorded, edited and mastered using our analogue valve based system, including passing each sound through our dedicated 1970’s Akai valve pre-amp and then copying everything through our Revox B77 tape machine loaded with vintage (but pristine) british Zonal 675 tape. It’s a long, slow process but we think the resulting sounds are worth it.

We created 15 crispy dry Snares and Claps and created also a Reverb and a Delay version from each sample, so you can still use your own effects on the unprocessed dry snares.
Altogether we got 45 24bit high quality wav samples for you, the pack has an unpacked size of 47,1MB.

We used several plugins to pimp these snares up like iZotope's new mixing plugin Neutron, Supercharger GT from Native Instruments, MFM2 for the delay effect, RC24 for the reverb which is also from Native Instruments and some other nice tools. Adobe Audition is our Audio editing tool of choice.
